Times Of Swaziland: 35 ICT INNOVATORS CALLED FOR FUNDING 35 ICT INNOVATORS CALLED FOR FUNDING ================================================================================ Mhlengi Magongo on 13/01/2023 06:48:00 MBABANE – Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is one of the few industries with an economic benefit for the next decades. The 4th industrial revolution presented an opportunity for the business sector to ease the way of doing things through creating new technological platforms. Collaboration between Eswatini and Israel created a unique opportunity for tech-savvy youth. “We are looking for the best of the best. The most talented, educated youth, who dream big and have the basic knowledge and tools to make it a reality,” mentioned Dr Ron Adany, a serial entrepreneur from Israel. Start-up Adany mentioned that the 35 most talented, motivated and promising young entrepreneurs from Eswatini would gain practical knowledge on how to build a start-up. He said the seminar will bring a unique opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience with cutting edge tools and techniques to build start-ups with minimal funds (bootstrapping) in a quick way. Adany will facilitate a five-day seminar on how to build a start-up with US$100 at Tums Water World from February 6, 2022. “This workshop is a dream come true as I have always been passionate about assisting aspiring entrepreneurs in succeeding,” he said. The event is in partnership with the Lutfo Dlamini Foundation and would be sponsored by Jenny Internet, the Royal Science and Eswatini Technology Park (RSTP) and Likusasa Letfu Youth Centre in different categories. It should be noted that some of the above listed sponsors are yet to confirm their sponsorship. For more details and the application form, visit
