MABUNDA PROMISES THEATRICAL, INSPIRING EXPERIENCE

MBABANE - Renowned business leader, author and speaker Nyimpini Mabunda, is set
to deliver a dynamic and inspiring presentation at the Leadership Growth Forum
(LGF) Year-End Cocktail Dinner.
The dinner is scheduled for November 29, 2024, at House on Fire, Malkerns.
Returning to Eswatini after his transformative first visit, Mabunda promises an
evening to remember, with a presentation themed around resilience, leadership
and triumph in the face of adversity. He plans to draw from the challenges of
2024 to provide actionable insights that will empower attendees to embrace a
transformative 2025.  “I look forward to the energy, learning, and exchange of
ideas,” said Mabunda. “This year has been tough globally and locally. My
presentation will explore how we can lead successfully in turmoil, reflect on
the lessons of this year (2024), and set ourselves up to bounce back stronger in
the new year (2025). Expect a curated, dramatised, storytelling experience
filled with surprises and inspiration.”
In addition to his presentation, Mabunda will reintroduce his bestselling book,
‘Take Charge,’ which distils his extensive corporate leadership experience
into accessible lessons for the next generation of African leaders. “Take
Charge is like an uncle in your pocket,” he said. “Through my career, while
many people think I have been successful, I think I could have been more
successful and faster had I had guidance from people who went before me. So
conscious that a lot of leaders in our continent, our first-generation leaders
in corporate, don’t have an uncle, a dad, a mother, an aunt or a grandmother,
who has worked in corporate who can guide them. I felt I had the responsibility
to be that uncle in your pocket. And that is the joke I say about my book,” he
explained.
The LGF Cocktail Dinner provides a unique platform for professionals from
diverse industries to network, share ideas and reflect on the year. Mabunda
emphasised the event’s importance: “This is a rare chance to step back,
celebrate our wins, and strategise for the future.”  He further revealed that
his team had been engaging with local professionals to ensure his presentation
resonates deeply with the Eswatini context.
Moment
“We are making every effort to ensure that every moment attendees spend at
this event is worthwhile,” Mabunda assured.  The evening will also feature a
keynote address by Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng, whose captivating and energetic
style promises to complement Mabunda’s theatrics.  “I know that Professor
Phakeng is a wonderful speaker and she’s highly energized. So, I think a
combination of the two of us plus the exquisite environment and the venue and
the entertainment, I think we are in for a great time,” said Mabunda.  “I
cannot wait to see the people of Eswatini and share a glass of something with
you and raise the glass to the end of the year, but also learn together. It is a
collaboration, it is a partnership, it is all of us together. So, thank you for
inviting me once again,” he added.
Nyimpini Mabunda will turn his visit to Eswatini into more than just a
professional engagement – he is making it a family affair.  After his last
trip to the Kingdom of Eswatini left him longing for more, Mabunda is returning
not only to inspire audiences at the Leadership Growth Forum (LGF), but also to
share the beauty of Eswatini with his two sons, aged 16 and 10.  “Eswatini is
a truly special place,” Mabunda shared with a smile. “The breathtaking
landscapes are only surpassed by the warmth and hospitality of its people. Last
time, I regretted not bringing my family to experience it. This time, I’m
rectifying that with a father-and-sons weekend adventure.” While the LGF
Cocktail Dinner on Friday will mark the highlight of his professional schedule,
Mabunda and his boys plan to spend the rest of the weekend exploring the
Kingdom.
