MBABANE - Top designer Pam Mkhwanazi will once again show that even bigger
ladies do have style by hosting a fashion show for them.
The event will be hosted in conjunction with Legendary Events, a company owned
by Nelisa Newton.
Mkhwanazi, who hosted the event last year confirmed to the entertainment desk
that she will do it again after getting demands from people who felt they
couldn’t get enough of it last year.
She mentioned that designs to be showcased will not only be hers but also from
Copellia Boutique, which is situated in the city next to Spar.

“Yes the show is on again and what’s left is to finalise the date but I can
mention that we are looking at the beginning of next month. What I can tell the
public is that unlike last year, this year’s designs will be those that are
available locally,” she said.
She went on and said the show will also be a forum for bigger women to share
ideas on how to look good irrespective of one’s body size and topics will
include image, dressing for one’s figure, plus underwear.
There will also be gifts which will be given to the participating ladies.
Last year, the show took place at the Royal Villas and asked on this year,
Mkhwanazi said they might use the same venue pending negotiations.
Mkhwanazi is amongst the country’s well known fashion designers who have also
showcased her talent in neighbouring South Africa. This was during the first
ever Mpumalanga Fashion Week, which took place three months ago.
