So it’s best to keep our future leaders busy while exploring their skills. The Youth Enterprise Fund mandated by His Majesty King Mswati III is set to improve the youth skills and keep them away from drugs, alcohol and sex among other possible dangerous things. This was said by both the Minister of Public Service, Owen Nxumalo and the Minister of Sports, Youth and Culture, David Cruiser Ngcamphalala last Saturday. This was during the Amanyora Fam-MTN Swaziland event held at the Ngwane Park High School Sportsground. Ngcamphalala said the Youth Enterprise Fund which had not been effective for quite some time was to benefit the youth and its board was ready to let them benefit from it. “It is time for the fund to be visible again, I am seeing a lot of talent within the youth through singing and dancing, my advice to the youth is to utilise the fund as the board is ready and willing to assist,” Ngcamphalala said. Amazing Meanwhile Minister Nxumalo, who also sponsored the event as well as MTN Swaziland, said the talent the Ngwane Park youth had was amazing and also unique. He stated that the youth had to diversify and concentrate on their talents especially through the same Youth Enterprise Fund to improve their skills. “It is a known factor that the key risk periods for drug abuse are major during transitions in children’s lives. The first big transition for children is when they leave the security of the family and enter school.
