Times Of Swaziland: MR KANGAROO, KRTC COLLABORATE MR KANGAROO, KRTC COLLABORATE ================================================================================ BY PHUMELELE MKHONTA on 21/03/2019 08:30:00 MBABANE - Mr Kangaroo is making big moves this year! Barely two weeks after proudly showing off his new wheels, the rapper and music producer, whose real name is Mayibongwe Manana, has collaborated with Eswatini veteran rapper Thamsanqa ‘KrTC’ Sibandze. The song is titled ‘Emaveni’ and it talks about refusing to be a nobody and dying with no money. It motivates people to dream big by going out there and experience what the world has to offer. Drop It will drop on April 5. Mr Kangaroo said their collaboration was motivated by KrTC’s experience in exploring the world. “What motivated the collaboration specifically with KrTC was because he has been to Africa, to the United States of America and other places. “While on the other side, I am just a young king who also really wants to see and explore the world and produce music for artists worldwide,” said the rapper. KrTC was the first person to actually believe in me and he booked me to perform one song at the Swaziland Theatre Club and paid me E2 000 in 2013. It is not their first time to work together as they have produced the ‘Wacala Kanjani’ remix and they did Illa Pen boy’s ‘Skorokoro’ song. “We create magic together,” he said. ‘Emaveni’ is the first song in Mr Kangaroo’s upcoming album, which is set to drop late this year. In the past year, the rapper has recorded music for over close to 40 artists, including young and aspiring rappers. Album He is currently working on Popzin’s album, Carrency’s album, Miss Trophy’s EP, LomaSoul’s EP, his album and a lot of other artists. He advised aspiring artists and rappers to be goal-oriented and not chase after a lavish life only. Hip hop DJ and music producer Master P, also known as Phinda Dlamini, congratulated Mr Kangaroo.
