Times Of Swaziland: MISS NORTHERN HHOHHO CROWNED MISS NORTHERN HHOHHO CROWNED ================================================================================ BY JOSEPH ZULU on 29/10/2019 02:35:00 PIGG’S PEAK – With the screams she received from the crowd throughout the event, it was not surprising that Lindokuhle Mashabane was crowned Miss Northern Hhohho. The event was dubbed ‘Battle of the Kings and Queens, Mr and Miss Northern Hhohho’. Mashabane was recently crowned Miss Madlangempisi and she competed against seven others from Pigg’s Peak, Mayiwane, Timpisini, Nftonjeni, Nkhaba and Mhlangatane. The 23-year-old graduated recently from IDM where she studied Accounting and Business Studies. Mashabane was crowned during an event on Saturday night at Gobolondlo Hall in the presence of throngs of fun lovers who travelled from various constituencies. Initiative The event, which is an initiative by Seed Soil Harvest Ministries (SSHM) was organised in collaboration with Kwazile Masimula, the organiser of the Miss Pigg’s Peak Pageant. Also present during the event was the Director SSHM, Futhi Mavuso. Temvelo Mtsetfwa, who is a studying Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Eswatini (UNESWA), was crowned 1s Princess. Mtsetfwa is also the reigning queen for Miss Pigg’s Peak. Senani Mathonsi, who is studying at the Medical University of South Africa (MEDUNSA), was crowned 2nd Princess. Frankie Dlamini was the Master of Ceremonies (MC) while also in attendance were Members of Parliament (MPs) Madala Mahlanga (Mhlangatane), Malombo Mamba (Timphisini) and Scorpion Nxumalo (Madlangempisi). The event was characterised by entertainment from M Nation, Swazi Storm, Zwistos and Sushi, Vutsa Nhlitiyo and Bruno.
