MBABANE - “She is a down to earth person.” These words were said by Lunga
Kunene, who was one of the fans that bought three CDs from the renowned musician
who goes by the name of Ami Faku, during her album signing at Ocean Basket in
Mbabane.
This is in preparation for the album launch which is slated for February 23 at
the newest and happening hotspot in Mbabane, the Mega Lounge, behind the Engen
filling station at Sidwashini.
Different local fans came out to meet the ‘Ebhayi’ hit maker.  Sukoluhle
Simelane also attested to having a great experience when meeting the songbird.

He shared that he was a huge fan and was happy to meet Ami Faku.
“I am definitely coming to the show at Mega Lounge, I am an afro-pop person. I
had a great experience meeting celebrities that are making it in the
industry,” he said. The CDs were sold at E100, some of the supporters were
buying two each.
In an interview with the talented songbird with an angelic voice Ami Faku, whose
real name is Amanda Faku, she expressed her excitement at being the country as
it was her first time. She said Eswatini made her feel at home.
“I love it, it’s chilled and calm. It reminds me of home. What really amazed
me was the recognition I got here, a year ago people did not know me,” she
said. She also assured fun lovers a night to remember on February 23, 2020.
“People must expect the best from me, a live performance of Ami Faku,” she
said.
