MBABANE – New gospel music out!
Singer and music producer Bheki Khanyile has revealed that their much awaited
album ‘Quenching’ has been released. Spirit Quest is a group of young people
that comprises of 13 vocalists and a six piece band. Khanyile is not a stranger
in the gospel music scene as he has and still continues to be a member of
renowned Eswatini gospel group Come to Jesus. He also founded Youth Effect, a
group that he helped release three albums before the establishment of Spirit
Quest. Spirit Quest is a group of young people from different churches in the
Mbabane and Manzini corridor but not limited to any member countrywide as long
as it will be convenient to him or her to be effective in group activities.
Founded
The group was founded in 2017 with 18 members and it currently has 17 vocalists
and 5 members playing different instruments. According to Khanyile, the new
album was recorded live at the Christian Media Centre main hall known as Jamming
House  in May 1, 2021. “Our new album has 23 songs (double disc) titled
‘Quenched’ and the second disc titled ‘Quenching’. Title songs include
Igamelihle laJesu, Sogcokiswa, Ngiyakwazi mina,” said Khanyile. Those
