MBABANE – Working hard to create new sounds!
Emaswati continue to bring the music to our ears as they release specially
prepared songs. The young rapper, Offspring, whose real name is Sihlelelwe
Dlamini from Mankayane will soon drop his greatest work of art which is an
Extended Play titled Superstar. In an interview with the publication he said
this would be his first EP where he would feature South African artist Wiziback.
He revealed that he had also released a single in 2019 titled Big Dreams which
was mixed and mastered by DJ Sandz Wae with the beats from Denzero.
“On the track I also featured an artist from Nhlangano whose stage name is
Blaqkid. I am happy to announce that my EP will be produced by two different
record labels named Mac San Records and One Time Records,” revealed Offspring.
Precede
The young rapper also mentioned that his EP will precede a music video that will
be shot in his home town Mankayane by YC Entertainment.   He revealed that he
was also an artist who was doing the rap music genre. “My songs in the album
aim to promote love amongst members of the society so that they love and care
for each other,” he said. He highlighted that for people who were interested
in hearing the new tracks, he had already released them to digital streaming
platforms with links available on his Facebook page.
“I would not be where I am without the love I continuously receive from my
supporters who have been behind me since the beginning,” said the rapper. In
light of the coronavirus pandemic which he revealed halted some of his plans,
Offspring urged people to continue protecting themselves from the coronavirus by
adhering to the lockdown regulations set by the government by staying at home
and washing their hands regularly with running water and soap.
