He’s making his way back to the country for the second time. The Gospel star is part of the MTN iPraise that is going to take place on October 1, this year at Mavuso Trade Centre. The 28-year-old musician is set to perform alongside a stellar line-up. The ‘Nasempini’ song, won him a Crown Gospel Award for Best Praise Song back in 2018. He’s well-known for hits such as ‘Ngena’ from his 2015 album and ‘Nasempini’ which he did with Spirit of Praise 7 in 2018. The song won him the hearts of many across southern Africa. Ntazi was announced during the official launch of the MTN iPraise. Destiny Music Director Tom Lin also announced other Gospel artists namely; Nothando Hlophe, Ndudzuzo Matse and Nigerian singer Sinach. Public This was the first phase of the line-up; Lin announced that this year they had handed over the ropes to the public. “We will be joined by Ayanda Ntanzi from South Africa and local greats like Nothando Hlophe and Nduduzo Matse. Other artists will be announced in due time and the public will be allowed to nominate an artist they would love to see perform,” said Tom Lin when announcing Ntanzi The public is already in process of voting and nominating local acts they would love to see perform. Ayanda Ntanzi is a renowned South African gospel singer who hails from Appelsbosch (Ozwathini, KwaZulu Natal).He is soaring high in his music career and has been the talk of the town for some time now. He has released several albums, including ‘Priestly Worship’ and ‘Udumo’. Exactly who is this remarkable singer? He was born into a family of singers, so he found himself following in the same footsteps at the age of 10. Some of his favourite musicians while growing up include Imvuselelo Yase Natalia and Masibuye Ku Jehova. The young gospel artist graduated in May 2020 from the University of KZN, where he earned his LLB degree via a virtual ceremony. Such milestones are just greater heights for him, especially in the corporate world as well. The singer was last in the country in 2019.
