Local film-makers, producers and actors have been given the platform to be part of one of the best movie production companies in the world. Blumhouse Productions is an American film and television production company founded in 2000 by Jason Blum. It is known mainly for producing horror films, such as Paranormal Activity, Insidious, The Purge, Split, Get Out, Happy Death Day, Halloween, Us, The Invisible Man, Freaky and The Black Phone. The production company has kept up a great reputation of leading summer internship programmes to groom creatives in the film industry. Eswatini Independent Film and Television Producers (EIFTPA) is an organisation that was created by local independent producers who create local content. This internship programme will serve as partial aid to this long cry. The association is the mother body of all film and television productions in the country and home to over 30 production houses and also affiliated to the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC).
