Times Of Swaziland: TOP 5 MISS TEEN MANZINI FINALISTS UNVEILED TOP 5 MISS TEEN MANZINI FINALISTS UNVEILED ================================================================================ Takhona Sithole on 08/07/2024 08:21:00 MBABANE - The top five Miss Teen finalists for the Manzini Region were unveiled on Saturday July 6, during eliminations held at Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC) offices in Manzini. These were the last eliminations before the finals, proposed to be held in August, where Miss Teen 2024/2025 will be crowned. The Miss Teen finalists include Nkhosephayo Nxumalo a pupil at Ngomane High School, Sinenkhosi Jele from Enjabulweni High School, Simenzelwe Nkumane from Bookville Institute, Siniketiwe Gwebu and Mikaela Rudd from St Michael’s High School. During an interview with the winners, they expressed their excitement over making it into the top five. Sinenkhosi shared that she lives to inspire young women. “I am excited to embark on this journey as I live to inspire young women,” Sinenkhosi said. Mikaela also shared that making it to the finals was a dream come true for her as she made her, school proud. “I feel so happy to be part of the finalists and I am proud that I shone and made my school proud,” she said. Nkosephayo and Siniketiwe also highlighted that they were excited to make it to the finals. “We are very happy that are part of the finalists of Miss Teen Eswatini, we had a great experience and so much fun,” they said. Melinda Mavuso the current Miss Culture 2023/24 was also in attendance during the eliminations. When delivering her speech, she encouraged the young girls to chase their dreams and goals, she also encouraged those who did not make it to the finalists, to not give up on their dreams. “There are a number of competitions which I lost, but I did not let the losses to define my future. Do not see failure as discontinue, but see it as a stepping stone to do better,” Mavuso said.
