MBABANE – Following the vibrant Eswatini Farmers Market, the excitement
continues, as Melting C gears up for a spectacular event that promises to keep
the festive spirit alive.
Under the inspired leadership of Events Director Mbekezeli ‘Culolam’
Dlamini, the entertainment landscape is preparing for an electrifying
performance by South African Amapiano sensation Mas Musiq. Mdzimba View
Shisanyama is set to transform into the epicentre of musical magic during the
highly anticipated ‘Exclusive Piano Night’. Mas Musiq, born Thabo Ngubane in
Tembisa, South Africa, embarked on his musical journey at a young age, driven by
a passion for crafting sounds that resonate deeply with audiences.
Pursuing
After completing high school, he honed his skills by pursuing a Sound
Engineering qualification at a music academy, preparing himself for the
competitive world of music production.
Since his debut in 2019, Mas Musiq has swiftly made his mark in the Amapiano
genre, earning accolades for his innovative production techniques and
captivating live performances.
Kicking off at noon and continuing into the twilight hours, this event is
designed to deliver a full day of rhythmic enjoyment. Music enthusiasts can
secure their spot by purchasing admission tickets. This performance marks a
triumphant return for Mas Musiq, who previously mesmerised fans at the Africa
Fest on August 31, 2024, held at the Sibebe Resort.
The evening will showcase mesmerising Amapiano sets that capture the genre’s
distinctive sound, inviting all music lovers to immerse themselves in the
pulsating beats.
Dlamini noted that this show is their second collaboration with MTN Momo.“Just
like the first one, this show will also be cashless. We want to create a space
where people can come together, revel in great music and forge unforgettable
memories,” he said.  MTN Fintech Manager Afi Dlamini expressed confidence in
partnering with Melting C events due to the brand’s empowerment. “Melting C
is MoMo’s partner, and the previous work we have done with him gives us
confidence in his skills,” he added.
Capability
Afi  further stated that cashless events are a movement aimed at showcasing the
full capability of their platform.  Mas Musiq was chosen as the headliner for
the event because of his recent hit single, ‘Amalanga Awafani’, and the
profound connection people have with his music, particularly this anthem. This
song resonates with many music lovers and is sure to elevate the overall
