This year, the event was marked not only by the academic achievements of numerous students but also by the presence of several beloved local entertainment personalities who celebrated their own milestones. Among the notable graduates was Siphesihle Dlamini better known as Festival B, a local poet whose work has resonated deeply within his community. Sentiments Dlamini shared his sentiments about the journey leading to graduation, emphasising the hard work and dedication that paved the way for this significant achievement. “It was no walk in the park. I am glad to have come this far. I have been waiting for this moment all my life. This degree means a lot to me and it is so satisfying to see my hard work pay off and make my family proud,” he said. Joining Dlamini in the celebration was fellow graduate Temalangeni Dlamini who expressed her joy and optimism for the future and reflecting on her personal journey. “This surely feels like a big achievement. Despite all the struggles that I went through, I am so proud of me and I am hoping only for the best from now on,” she said. The ceremony was not just a gathering of graduates but it was a celebration of dreams fulfilled. Other entertainment personalities who proudly walked across the stage included Onicah Mansoor, Mnqobi Tsabedze, Zwelankosi Msibi, and Didi Mshengu.
