The choir’s outstanding performance led to a swift sell-out of tickets within just two days of their release, prompting the venue to add extra seats to accommodate the demand. Mxolisi Magagula, a former choir member who sang with the group from 2006 to 2009, expressed his pride in hosting these talented boys in Eswatini. “The choir was exceptional; they definitely met the audience’s expectations and left everyone yearning for more,” he remarked. Magagula, who played a pivotal role in organising the concert, revealed that the team had only five weeks to coordinate the choir’s tour, yet the turnout surpassed all predictions. He extended heartfelt thanks to the owners of House on Fire for their invaluable support during the tight timetable. Performances The Drakensberg Boys Choir, comprised of 54 gifted young vocalists, is celebrated for its rich harmonies and dynamic performances.
