MBABANE - The Swaziland Solidarity Network (SSN) has tried to stop South African
hip hop star AKA from performing in the country on Saturday.
This comes after he wrote on his twitter page yesterday that he was definitely
going to be with his Swazi fans this weekend.
SSN’s Pius Rinto who was a member of the once popular local group Stealth
Independence responded to AKA’s tweet and asked him why he was coming for the
performance as there was a cultural boycott going on.
The talented South African star responded by saying he has not been invited by
royalty something which saw other fans of the boycott attacking him.
AKA has been invited by organisers of the now popular ‘Conquerors dance/rap
battle’ who also invited South Africa’s Teargas two weeks ago.
