MBABANE - Organisers of the upcoming Foam Party at Tinker’s have roped in
current Miss Freshers Kwaluseni campus Buhlebethu Nyamane to be the MC.
The event, which is set for Saturday, starts at 8pm and the cover charge is E50
all night. The beauty queen will be on the stage interacting with the crowd and
presenting the acts and DJs who will rock the turntables.
The event will incorporate a ‘Mozambican Invasion’, a concept that is the
brainchild of Tinker’s resident spinner, Duks. The invasion will feature
Maputo based DJ Sandro along with Mozambican nationals who have been invited to
their first Foam Party in Swaziland.
Working hand in hand with Tinker’s, Duks has crafted an event that is designed
to keep fun lovers entertained until the early hours of Sunday morning.
Artists such as Stitch and Phatboney promised that they will make this a night
to remember and urged fun lovers to come in their numbers.
Phatboney, a local four member hip hop group, will be doing their first public
performance in collaboration with DJ Stitch. Club PRO Chris Fleming said the
event will feature eight DJs who specialise in various genres of music to make
sure that all musical tastes are taken care of and fun lovers remain on their
feet for hours on end. Other spinners for the night include Mr 505, Toxik,
Laylow, STORM and GregT.
