The official opening is scheduled for this Saturday. Currently, Pastor Bakhe is the only artist that has been scheduled to perform during the official opening. Newman Ntshangase confirmed that the official opening of this year’s trade fair will be on Saturday, saying Pastor Bakhe would be the main artist. Perform “Bakhe is expected to perform twice. His first performance will be on Saturday during the official opening while the next performance will be on Sunday during the first gospel Sunday music festival,” he said. “In the process, those who will attend the official opening will get the opportunity of viewing some of the items that would be exhibited. We will be having a number of exhibitors showing off their items. We have tried to make sure that we make this year’s lineup interesting in as far as entertainment is concerned. We have everything in place and I believe it will be one of the best shows ever,” he further said. South African gospel artists Benjamin Dube and the Soweto Gospel Choir would be in the country as they are expected to perform on Sunday. “We are already working on the final logistics of the show but I can safely say that everything is on the right track. Apart from the South African artists we have also included local artists who include Thabile Myeni, Zodwa Samboko, Pastor LaNdlela, Wandile, Sunshine M and Wisdom. The artists will be indeed at their best,” he said. He also invited the public to bring their children on Monday during the family day saying there would be a number of things happening on this day. “We will be having a dance competition and also South African top artist Professor is expected to be the main artist,” he said. Ntshangase assured the public of a bigger and better event this year encouraging the public to come in numbers to witness what is said to be the best entertainment.
