Times Of Swaziland: Lomavovo, we can't all be experts Lomavovo, we can't all be experts ================================================================================ The Editor on 24/03/2010 00:00:00 Sir, Let me air my sheer disappointment on the issue regarding FLAS. Last time I wrote a letter praising the NGOs for the work they are conducting in the country and in the communities, I then received criticism from a reader, which I have to say has not gone down well with me. Mr Editor, let me say that I never criticised FLAS anywhere but included it as an organisation that is among the elite in delivering health services to the public, but I am disgruntled if this particular individual claims that I am dragging FLAS name in the mud something I never did. Criticised Mud—what did he mean? He further criticised me for not knowing the NGOs I was writing about. Mr Editor, I am well versed with the NGOs like the Medicines Sans Frontiers (MSF) or Doctors Without Boarders. This organisation has its office in Nhlangano at Maccalpan, opposite the Nhlangano Health Centre. Its main office is in Mbabane, Dalriach east. Its Headquarters is in Geneva, Switzerland and has got branches over 80 countries in the world. Rushes I am also a former employee and therefore I am flabbergasted to learn that someone would just blurt out that I am an ignorant clown who rushes to praise and criticise. It’s no good, Mr Editor. Am I a fool to write something that I am not sure of? Who is Lomavovo by the way? One should rather keep quiet if he does not agree with somebody’s declaration than lambasting that person. It hurts Mr Editor. What I write is based on my exploration and observation and therefore I cannot write anything that I am not sure of. I am not living in a cell like a prisoner that I can only have sight of what is happening around me only. And I surely urge my dear citizen to desist from such unbecoming behaviour.
