Times Of Swaziland: BULEMBU FAMILY OF 5 IN SA CRASH REVEALED BULEMBU FAMILY OF 5 IN SA CRASH REVEALED ================================================================================ BY MELISA MSWELI on 07/11/2019 02:05:00 MBABANE - The five-member Eswatini-based family who died in a nasty car accident in neighbouring South Africa has been revealed. The victims were part of nine people who were involved in the car crash and have been identified as Sabelo Sibeko, Brendan, Melissa, Evelyn and Colton Perrott. They were described by Bulembu Ministries, where the family was based, as people who were full of life, vibrant, servant-hearted, integrius and loving. Bulembu Ministries, in a statement said; “It is with great sorrow that we confirm the loss. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. We are mourning, grieving and suffering the loss of such vital members of our family and our community.” Honour The statement further states that the deceased had lived life to the full and aspired to be vessels of honour for the Lord. According to the statement, the family was returning from Sabelo’s adventure race in the Drakensberg, South Africa when an oncoming car overtook their vehicle at an extremely high speed. “It crossed a solid line, lost control and hit our precious family in a fatal head-on collision. We mourn and grieve for ourselves, as well as with their families, relatives and friends as we bring them home,” they added. The Perrott family was reportedly in the country to serve the people of Eswatini, especially the children of Bulembu. According to Bulembu Ministries, the reason they were in the country was because: “They followed the call of God and left their comfortable home and successful careers in Sherwood Park Canada for Bulembu.” The wife and husband were said to have loved spending time and investing in people, especially the children of Bulembu. They were said to have done a lot in encouraging the children who equally adored them. The wife was said to be a baker as she would not only bake birthday cakes to bless people at Bulembu, but on weekends she would always have groups of children over for baking lessons. The two children were also said to have made friends with others from the area and that school to their little friends would never be the same without them. Narrating about Sabelo, the Bulembu Ministries stated that he grew up and completed his schooling at Bulembu. Talented They described him as one soul who was talented in sports. “Brendan and Melissa spotted his athleticism and encouraged him to live out his passion through adventure racing. He worked at the dairy and as an intern with plans to start his own animal husbandry business this year,” they stated. Bulembu Ministries went on to state that they were so proud of his combined qualities of both care and compassion through serving the next generation at Bulembu Children’s Church and his strength and dedication as an athlete, making him a wonderful role model. Asked about the burial arrangements, Bulembu Ministries stated that there was no final word to date, adding that they were still waiting for their family members to give a directive.
