The vehicle, which is a Komatsu bulldozer, is said to have developed mechanical faults around September 2019 and is now stationary at the private property. Following another expos`e by this publication whereby a government TLB was parked at a private home near Nsangwini, some government drivers who spoke on condition of anonymity, complained that there were other similar vehicles which were being misused. *Juba, a driver at Ntfonjeni who was with two others, revealed that they were now being punished for the vehicle that had been found stuck near Nsangwini. He alleged that following the expose by the Times of Eswatini, three drivers were transferred but that they now wanted to share their side of the story as to how the TLB found its way to Nsangwini. Juba alleged that the bulldozer which is now parked at a homestead near Mnyokane was initially taken there to be used for fixing the gravel road leading to Jubukweni. dispute He alleged that the vehicle had been taken there around August last year but that there was a dispute on how it was being used. Juba, who was one of the drivers based at Ntfonjeni camp under the roads department of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, said the vehicle was abandoned after there were allegations that it was being abused. He said that under normal circumstances, a report should have been written to state how the vehicle found its way to the homestead but this had not been done. Juba said the vehicle developed mechanical faults but ended up being parked there. He said the vehicle was registered under the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and that it was based at Ntfonjeni camp as one of the vehicles to be used for fixing the roads. forced Another driver based at Buhleni also complained about being forced to do other duties outside the normal use of government vehicles. *Moses, who is also based at Ntfonjeni camp, also alleged that the abuse of the vehicles was rife. Government Chief Vehicle Inspector Sam Magagula was called on his mobile phone but it rang unanswered. An attempt was also made to reach the Principal Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Khangeziwe Mabuza, but her phone also rang unanswered. However, during a previous communication regarding the TLB that is still currently parked at Nsangwini, Mabuza said she would follow up on the matter.
