Times Of Swaziland: KING IMPRESSED BY PRAISE-SINGING RSTP ROBOT KING IMPRESSED BY PRAISE-SINGING RSTP ROBOT ================================================================================ Sabelo Majola on 08/09/2023 10:21:00 MANZINI - His Majesty King Mswati III was highly impressed with a rare invention in the form of a robot that can sing his praises. The King was touring different trade exhibition stalls at the Eswatini International Trade Fair at Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre yesterday. The robot, which was invented at the Royal Science and Technology Park (RSTP), is an automatic device that has multiple functionalities which, in this case, include singing the King’s praises. It has security features that include locking and unlocking doors, alerting home owners on anyone who made a stop at their home, and many other functions. RSTP Chief Executive Officer Vumile Dlamini, explained to the head of State that the country was thriving to reach a significant level of artificial intelligence, hence the invention. In appreciating the automatic device, the King highlighted that he would make time to visit the park and appreciate the gadget with enough time to hear about its invention. The King was with his guests, who included King Letsie III of Lesotho, former Botswana President Ian Khama and former South Africa President Jacob Zuma. The King and his guests toured about 40 exhibition stalls, where they appreciated the business that these entities were engaged in. The King’s first stop was the Inyatsi Group Holdings, where he was shown the different entities under the group.
