The dancer said this at Ngwenya Border Gate yesterday, as she returned with a silver medal from the finals, which were hosted in Prague, Czech Republic. The finals started from June 26, 2024 and they are set to end on July 6, 2024. Worth mentioning is the fact that she received a warm welcome from fans, relatives and her proud parents. Ndoniyamanzi said the competition was tense, but it was all exciting for her. “The competition was hard, but fine, exciting and fun for me. I am happy that my family and friends came to welcome me, I appreciate it,” she said. When asked how it felt being awarded a medal, she shared that she almost broke down in tears while on stage. “I felt like crying on stage, because I was so happy,” she said. Her mother Temalangeni Fakudze said she is very proud of her daughter for being brave. “I am very proud, as a mother I am amazed just to see what God is doing. In our lives as parents, in the life of Eswatini, we are surprised and shocked about the achievement. I have been supporting her since day one and I am still supporting her today. Whatever she decides, I am here as a mother,” she said. Explore When asked what she could say as a mother to parents, to encourage them to give their children a chance to explore their talent, she shared that parents should support their kids. “I would urge parents to support their kids and if you do support them, you will really appriciate it in the future. So I am appealing to every mother out there to support what their children are willing to do,” she said. Ndoniyamanzi’s father, Moyitela Fakudze, also echoed the words of her wife and thanked emaSwati for rallying behind their child during the competition. “We have been praying for her and we are thankful to God because we see his power. We are also grateful to all emaSwati who supported us, especially when knocking at their doors for sponsorship. We are asking for such support even for other children,” Moyitela said. The talented dancer qualified for the finals earlier this year, during a competition hosted in South Africa where she qualified with 77.5 points. Ndoniyamanzi has been dedicated to her craft since the age of four.
