FEMALE TEACHER, MAN ARRESTED FOR OVER E1M ARMED ROBBERY

MBABANE - A 40-year-old female teacher has been arrested alongside a man, for an
armed robbery, where over E1 million was taken from an Asian-owned shop in
Manzini.
The duo was apprehended by the Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) yesterday.
According to police sources, the teacher acted as a spotter during the robbery.
Both suspects are expected to appear at the Manzini Magistrates Court today. In
addition to the robbery charge, the pair faces charges of possession of an
unlicensed firearm, which was allegedly used during the crime.Chief Police
Information and Communications Officer, Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati,
confirmed the arrests and the impending court appearance.
