Princess Temaswati (20), who is daughter to Inkhosikati LaNgangaza, has been living in the Arab State for the past two months. The princess, also affectionately known as Takhe, is pursuing a four-year degree course in Engineering in the oil rich country. The king’s Private Secretary, Sihle Dlamini and Tibiyo Taka Ngwane’s Jameson Gule, who is Secretary and General Manager Administration, returned to the country last Monday from Kuwait where they had gone to check on the well-being of the princess, amongst other duties. Studying Interviewed on Friday, Dlamini confirmed that the princess was studying in Kuwait, but could not give any further details, stating that only the Chief Officer in the King’s Office, Bheki Dlamini, could comment on the issue. He further said the princess lived in a house which is outside the university. However, the CEO—who has been contacted by this publication since Wednesday—has not been available for comment. Dlamini said he was busy in meetings or did not answer his mobile phone on over 10 different occasions when contacted. Meanwhile, Princess Elizabeth, who is an elder sister to House of Assembly Speaker Prince Guduza and Economic Planning and Development Minister Prince Sihlangusempi, is also in Kuwait and looks after the princess. Princess Elizabeth recently retired from the Swaziland National Provident Fund. (SNPF). Princess Temaswati left the country after the 40-40 Double Celebrations and lives off-campus as the univ-ersity or col-lege that she is studying in non resi-dent. A Swazi Embassy in Kuwait was established this year and Chief Senzan-gakhona (former Swazi representative to the United Nations) was appoin-ted the country’s ambassador to that country. Before she went to Kuwait, the princess was educated in England, before moving to Switzerland. Princess won’t reveal name of university MBABANE — Princess Temaswati will not reveal the name of the university she is attending for reasons which she ‘would rather not say’. Contacted by the Times SUNDAY on her MTN roaming subscriber number the young princess confirmed that she was now living and studying in Kuwait. She confirmed that she had taken an Engineering course and said it would last for four years. The princess said there were no residences for the students at the university and everyone came from their different homes. She also refused to comment on the type of house she lived in stating that it was comfortable. Takhe said so far she was happy with the life in that country and said everything was normal. "I have made a few friends and in the area that I live in everyone wears normal clothes, like jeans, dresses and tracksuits," she said. She said she would soon be back in the country to attend the Incwala ceremony, which she said she would not miss for anything in the world.
