GOLDEN FOOT RECORDS MOST  PARTICIPANTS IN WAFA WAFA

MATSAPHA – Golden Foot Club recorded the most participants; 164,  in
Saturday’s Wafa Wafa half marathon.
They were awarded for bringing big numbers to the event that was attended by
about 1 000 athletes. Mbabane Motors won the best company prize with 28 runners,
while the Army Air Wing had 13 participants to win the in-house recognition for
having the most athletes.
The race was hosted by the Umbutfo Swaziland Defence Force (USDF).
The race was attended by prominent figures in government and the army who
included Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Paul Dlamini, Minister of Sports, Culture
and Youth Affairs David Ngcamphalala, General Army Commander Sobantu Dlamini and
his deputy Jeffrey Tshabalala.
