The ‘Birds’ will be crowned after their clash against Midas City billed to kick-off at 3:30pm. Before their crowning, fans will be treated to an exciting clash between rivals Mbabane Highlanders and Manzini Wanderers set to start at 1:30pm. Red Lions who are running away from relegations, host Manzini Sundowns in the first match of the day at 11:30pm. Fans will pay E30 to watch the triple header that will be spiced up by entertainment from DJ Tempt and social teams. Premier League of Swaziland (PLS) Chief Operations Officer (COO), Pat Vilakati said Swallows will only be presented with the trophy and they will then receive the medals and the cheque end of the season. “We are aware that Highlanders and Wanderers match is one of the biggest in the land but with the fact that Swallows will be given the trophy, it is good they play in the last fixture,” he said. Swallows won the league after second positioned Young Buffaloes were beaten 1-2 by Midas City a fortnight ago. Swallows are at the summit of the log with 48 points, while Buffaloes are second with 30 points with only five games remaining. Swallows also have a game in hand against Moneni Pirates and it is scheduled for next Wednesday. The main battle in the league remains at the bottom where the quarter of Tambuti FC, Red Lions, Highlanders and Manzini Sea Birds are fighting to survive the axe.
