5 LOCAL SIDES CONFIRM  SIIBT PARTICIPATION

MBABANE – At least five local teams will battle for a podium finish among a
whopping total of 37 in next month’s Swaziland Invitational International
Basketball Tournament (SIIBT).
Hard Steels, Imbumbe, Superstars and Mbabane Jazz are the men teams participants
with Super Ladies the only female side in the tournament.
Swaziland will once again welcome teams from across the region for this event
scheduled for the weekend of June 23-25.
SIIBT Technical Director Kuda Zvareva confirmed the final list following last
Wednesday’s deadline.
Venues
The Mavuso Sports Emporium, Ligcabho LemaSwati Sports Emporium and University of
Swaziland (UNISWA) Hall will be used as playing venues.
Already, the local envoys are getting the needed preparations in the form of the
gruelling ongoing MTN Swaziland National Basketball League sponsored with a
landmark package of E250 000.
