And it finally came; the chief funeral undertaker was to be hat-trick hero Nobuhle Mdluli, who inspired her team to an emphatic 9-1 win. This was during a Women FA Cup match played at the National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS) Technical Centre yesterday. The army side will on Thursday play against Mbabane Swallows Ladies in the semi-finals of the FA E10 000 sponsored tournament. The game in the first half was a balanced affair until the Simephi Mamba-led charges scored seven goals in the second stanza. In the first 45 minutes, the score was 2-1 in favour of the hosts thanks to goals from undoubted man of the match Nobuhle Mdluli. The bulky midfielder scored the quickest goal of the tournament in 27 seconds and added another in the 44 minute. The visitors netted their solitary goal through the boot of Mary Phiri who finished off from a Beatrice Hlophe cross in the 33rd minute. On another note, Manzini Wanderers cruised to the finals after beating a Royal Leopard 2-0 in the semi-finals.
