Times Of Swaziland: WE NOW NEED DIVINE INTERVENTION - DLUDLU WE NOW NEED DIVINE INTERVENTION - DLUDLU ================================================================================ BY SABELO GWEBU on 24/10/2017 08:38:00 NHLANGANO – “There is nothing we have not done to win matches and I feel we now need divine intervention.” These were the words of Mbabane Midas City coach Artwell Dludlu following his side’s record ninth straight defeat at the hands of Royal Leopard on Sunday afternoon at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium. Charismatic as ever and confident in his words, Dludlu said they had tried everything from different combinations to squad rotation but it seems the first points of the 2017/18 MTN League season will not come by anytime soon. Dludlu refused to put blame on the preseason sale of about eight key players, among others Ndumiso ‘Tower’ Ndaba and Simanga Shongwe, who joined Mbabane Swallows, and Buhlebenkhosi Msibi, who penned for Leopard. “The sale of players is no excuse. We have a capable squad that can compete for honours in the Premier League and as you saw today, we created good chances to at least get a point after conceding that silly goal,” he said. His Leopard counterpart Sifiso ‘Nuro’ Ntibane is of the view that they should have killed off the game in the first half. “It is not easy to keep the momentum going but we will have to try and win the next game. We created ample chances to kill off the game in the first half but there were positives to pick, the good tactical discipline from my boys,” Ntibane, who was without Lungelo Tsabedze, Phumlani Dlamini and Sikhumbuzo ‘Chaka’ Ntimane through injuries and suspension, among others, said.
