News about the death of the former Pirates Chairman and erstwhile Premier League of Eswatini Governor started spreading like wildfire early yesterday. He succumbed to an undisclosed sickness. He died at around 5pm on Friday. In reaction to the unfortunate incident, Pirates released a statement to mourn the seasoned administrator who was dubbed a true ‘Buccaneer’. Pirates CEO Thami Dlamini said the team was shattered by Zwane’s demise, highlighting that it was double blow as it came at a time when the side was still without a director. Dlamini worked closely with Zwane over three seasons ago. “He had an open door policy and assisted the team financially when there was no director.
