The 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games were postponed from last year July to August, to July 24 until August 8, 2021. The country’s sprinter Sibusiso ‘Swazi Bolt’ Matsenjwa is among the hopefuls who might qualify for the games. Before sports were forced to shut down last year in March due to COVID-19, Matsenjwa had already started attending some qualifiers. He is currently in South Africa at the High Performance Centre (HPC) where he is entering the second month from the five months that he will spend there. He travelled with another sprinter in Phumlile Ndzinisa, who is also hoping to qualify for the Olympics. Both athletes will be hoping to attend their third Olympic Games since 2012 in London.
