Buffaloes will now play in the CAF Confederation Cup play-offs. Failed Buffaloes started the match on a high creating some chances that they failed to find the back of the net, missing through Fanelo ‘Order’ Mamba and Phiwa Dlamini. They were much under pressure as they had to score at least two goals to keep their hopes alive. AS Vita were not under pressure, but they created some chances and took the lead in the 18th-minute through Filston Kalala. He easily beat Nhlanhla Gwebu inside the box. In the second half, things got tougher for Buffaloes as it rained goals for AS Vita, who had complete dominance of the match. The goals started to come in with only a quarter of an hour remaining before full time. AS Vita scored through Glody Lilepo in the 76th-minute and three minutes later and they completed their scoring with a minute before full time to win the match 4-1 and 6-3 aggregate. Buffaloes scored a consolation goal with five minutes remaining by Phiwa Dlamini.
