MBABANE – Sparks are set to fly on Saturday night at Mavuso Sports Centre when
traditional bitter rivals, Mbabane Highlanders and Swallows cross swords in an
MTN league clash set for a 6:30pm kickoff time.
The two teams settled for a goalless draw on April 24 at the same venue in the
first round encounter. Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Chief Operations Officer
(COO) Pat Vilakati released mid-week fixtures and the weekend fixtures where the
big Mbabane derby will be the pick of the week fixtures.
Green Mamba will face off with Manzini Wanderers, who are on a 13-match unbeaten
run, in the opening fixture on Saturday at 3pm before the Mbabane arch rivals
engage in a fierce battle for supremacy. Meanwhile, Mbabane Swallows will replay
their fixture against Moneni Pirates, which was called off on April 28, at
KaLanga Technical Centre on Wednesday, July 7 at 2:30pm.
