Former Eswatini Football Association (EFA) President Patrick Kunene has succumbed to an undisclosed sickness. It was gathered that he passed on around 2pm on Saturday. A close relative to the deceased, who was identified as Khumalo, confirmed the passing on of the seasoned football administrator, saying he was sick for a long time. remembered Kunene will be remembered for having the shortest reign in the history of the local game as chief of the football mother body between 2001 and 2003. He had won the elections ahead of Adam ‘Bomber’ Mthethwa through the toss of a coin back on June 3, 2001, only to be removed from office through a vote of no confidence.
