They dislodged army side Young Buffaloes who had claimed the seat on Saturday, after edging Moneni Pirates 2-1 in the week 16 fixtures, played over the weekend. The two are separated by a single point as the tittle race heats up, with the capital city giants being Highlanders and Swallows still in the picture. According to reports from KaLanga, the Correctional side scored in each half to give the visitors a rude welcome as they shared the spoils during the first round clash. The Ernest Mavuso-led side scored through the boot of Njabulo Tfwala in the 23rd minute, with Njabulo Magagula also on target a minute after the restart of the match. Their final goal came three minutes after the second through experienced winger Mthunzi ‘Xavi’ Mkhontfo. Meanwhile, Sea Birds pulled one back at the 51st minute through Siphelele Dladla.
