The former Madlenya FC striker said this in a post-match interview at Mhlume Stadium in a MTN Premier League match, where the army side defeated Ikabort Masocha-led Moneni Pirates. Both goals came via the foot of Maziya. “I have been welcomed very well here at Young Buffaloes and the players have taken me in like their brother, which has made things easier for me to quickly settle in the team. Signing for Buffaloes has been my dream and now I have to reward the team for having the belief that I can help the team push in being competitive in the league. I have 12 goals so far in the league and my target is still scoring 23 goals in the team,” he said. Unnoticed Maziya went on to say that he was happy to get a call-up to the national team. “I’m happy that my hard work has not gone unnoticed, which has been seen by the call-up to the national set-up. Every player dreams of representing their country and for me the call-up means that I have to continue working hard. So far my performance this season has been great and it all boils done to hard work and determination” The former Madlenya sharp shooter went on to say that he was at Buffaloes to continue to bang in the goals and was happy to score in his debut game. “I’m happy that I have been able to score in my first game for the club which has many quality players in all departments. I will continue being a team player and will continue banging in the goals,” Maziya concluded The army side face struggling Shiselweni based-side Nsingizini Hotspurs this week.
