MBABANE – World of Motorsport Eswatini, through Event Coordinator Samkelisiwe
Ndlangamandla, has promised fireworks ahead of tomorrow’s championship.
The championships, which will take place at the Riders Ranch at Sidvokodvo with
prizes up to E30 000, will start in the afternoon and Ndlangamandla
urgedmotorsport lovers to attend the show without fail. “Whether you are a
beginner or professional, we want to urge the nation to partake in the
competition. These competitions will open doors for them internationally. The
event accommodates families and it is a good platform for networking, with
activities and entertainment for all. There will be a showbiz by local
entertainers ranging from DJs, artists performing live and dancers. Other
activities to look forward to include GO-KARTING for all, drag racing, drifting
and many more,” she said.
Motorsport Eswatini Executive Committee Member Nhlanhla Maphanga, a former
Mbabane Swallows and national team Sihlangu goalkeeper, had in the beginning of
the year started encouraging all those in the local motorsport industry to start
dreaming of a future in Formula One following the successful first edition of
the Formula E Championship in neighbouring South Africa (SA), known as the Cape
Town ePrix l.
