MBABANE – Manzini Wanderers Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Diana ‘Girlie’
Johnson says nothing can separate staunch supporter Sidumo Ngwenya from the
team.
The bold statement from the CEO of the hub giants comes after their long-time
supporter, Ngwenya, announced his departure from the team. Ngwenya, who has been
a dedicated supporter of the Nyanga ‘Crooks’ Hlophe-coached team for over 30
years, revealed to the publication on Sunday afternoon that he has decided to
switch his allegiance to the ambitious Premier League team, Nsingizini Hotspurs.

“Sidumo’s bond with Manzini Wanderers is unbreakable, and I don’t think
any other club can change that. His heart will always belong to the team, even
if he decides to leave, just like some players have done in the past. And just
like those players, he may return to the team in the future. We understand his
reasons for leaving, as football is a business, but he will always be a part of
our team and our family,” she said.

Meanwhile, Mbabane Swallows staunch supporter Muzi ‘Bondas’ Simelane said
that supporters across the country should respect and accept the decision made
by the former Wanderers supporter. “In recent times, football has become more
of a business than a sport and we have seen the unexpected departure of Orlando
Pirates’ number one supporter, Mama Joy, to Royal AM. While this came as a
shock to many of us, it is important that we respect his decision and understand
that football is a business for many players and supporters,” he said. Bondas
went on to reveal that he would never leave Swallows, even if he were to receive
an offer to do so. “My blood will always be red and white and nothing can
separate me from the team, not even money. I was born a Swallows supporter, and
I will be buried by the Swallows family on the day I leave this earth,” he
ended.
