The tournament was sponsored by HiFi Corp and it took place at the Swaziland Building Society (SBS) tennis court at Lobamba. Joshan walked away with a trophy and a HiFi Corp gift card of E450. With this card he would be able to purchase anything from the shop worth that money. He was crowned the champion after defeating Phiwokuhle Nsibande with a score-line of 6-0 in the finals. Medal Nsibande scooped the second place prize where he walked away with a silver medal as well as a HiFi Corp gift card worth E350. In third place was Bulelani Khumalo who bagged a bronze medal and a HiFi Corp gift card worth E200. He was awarded after beating Bantubonke Maseko 6-0. Meanwhile, Eziebo’s name has become synonymous with success. He raised the country’s flag high on May, 2024 at the Mbombela Tennis Open tournament where he was awarded a silver medal and a trophy. The Eswatini’s junior tennis top seed also got an impressive victory in the Under-12s tournament that took place earlier this year in Pretoria, South Africa. HiFi Corp Mbabane Branch Manager Mongezi Sukati said they were impressed by the attendance of the youngsters and the standard of play.
