This presentation was made at Manzini Club, on Tuesday. Princess Temtsimba, through the foundation, had earlier promised to acquire soccer boots for the side during their prize presentation held at the Tums George Hotel, recently. The foundation provided 25 pairs of soccer boots from different brands ranging from Adidas to Puma, among others. The prices range between E650 and E700 per pair. During the soccer boots presentation, Manzini Wanderers’ Team Manager Thompson Ndzinisa expressed the team’s gratitude for the kind gesture, which will assist the ladies side in their upcoming season. He said this support stretched beyond their expectations and they were appreciative to the princess for the support, love and passion for the club. “Words can’t be enough. We are so happy and grateful for everything that you do for the club. We are a praying club and we shall continue to do so because we still have challenges,” expressed Ndzinisa. He further cited that for the upcoming season, which is the 2024/25 campaign, their mandate was to go back to playing in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Women’s Champions League qualifiers that are played under the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) banner. Ndzinisa also highlighted one of their biggest challenges within the club was the issue of a clubhouse. He said a clubhouse could make training as a team easier. Vision Meanwhile, Nomalungelo Dladla, Director of Kwakitsi Foundation mentioned that the princess approached them and advocated to support those with the eagerness to succeed in their respective fields. “We are here as Kwakitsi Foundation, one of our slogans or vision rather is to encourage morale,” said Dladla. On the other hand, the princess also shared her remarks during the presentation. She revealed that she had known Manzini Wanderers for a long time through Inkosikati LaMbikiza and spent some time watching the ladies side.
