This was revealed by the Eswatini National Provident Fund (ENPF) Marketing and Communications Officer, Magman Mahlalela. ENPF are the organisers of this road challenge. The slots for the lucrative race were sold out just two days ago. “It was surprising this year, as the slots were quickly sold out. Both local and international runners registered in large numbers. All race category slots have been taken. We have over 1 500 runners coming from outside the country,” Mahlalela said. He also mentioned that most runners are from South Africa (SA), while some are from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Australia, Zimbabwe and Kenya, among others countries. He stated that above 6 000 registered as it was their target. Those still interested to participate in this year’s edition have the 3km race, which is for free and the aerobics. This race is scheduled for October 6 at Somhlolo National Stadium.
