The signing of the former Umkhonto KaShaka player, who was previously on the wanted list of Royal Leopard, was announced on the team’s official social media page on Facebook, where the player was unveiled and welcomed to the club by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sandile Gwebu. The talented attacking midfielder was recently granted his clearance on Thursday afternoon to join a team of his choice, after initially resigning from the club and enduring a tumultuous period concerning salaries. Allegations suggest that players have gone unpaid for the past three months, with their last payment in September being only half of their salaries. Speaking after signing the player, a jubilant Gwebu expressed his delight at securing the signature of the box-to-box midfielder. The CEO, who was also celebrating his birthday on the day, praised Manyisa’s vast experience, having played in the prestigious Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League with Mbabane Swallows, adding depth and quality to Young Buffaloes’ squad.
