LOB AMBA – Prime Minister Russell Dlamini heralded yesterday’s Ingwenyama
Cup final as a ‘beautiful day for both football and culture.
In a thrilling display of skill and determination, Royal Leopard triumphed over
Moneni Pirates in the Ingwenyama Cup final, securing a narrow yet celebrated 1-0
victory yesterday.  The PM lauded the impressive turnout of over 10 000
enthusiastic supporters who flocked to the venue to partake in the festivities.
The prime minister expressed his satisfaction with the youth’s engagement in
cultural activities, emphasising that the vision of nurturing and promoting
local heritage is bearing fruit. “We are pleased to see such high levels of
cultural uptake among our young people,” Dlamini stated, reflecting on the
importance of events like the Ingwenyama Cup in fostering a sense of community
and national pride.
The fervent atmosphere in the stadium showcased not only the passion for
football but also the rich cultural tapestry of the nation, underscoring the
