Times Of Swaziland: We're not seeking derby revenge - Birds' We're not seeking derby revenge - Birds' ================================================================================ CHRIS DLAMINI on 16/11/2011 00:00:00 MBABANE – As the clock ticks menacingly towards the country’s biggest derby pitting city rivals Mbabane Swallows and Mbabane Highlanders, the tension has become palpable in both teams camps. The host team, Swallows’ Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sibusiso Manana has declared this is a completely new game for them. "All the Swallows family knows that we lost 2-1 in the last derby but Highlanders was playing for revenge since we had beaten them 3-1 in the first round. This is a new game altogether and we won’t go there to seek revenge but a new result," he said. He said they have started preparations for the game with all their players at training yesterday, save for talented winger Darren ‘Dazza’ Christie who is away with the senior national team Sihlangu. Manana said they have an injury-free squad and pray that even Darren returns home fit for the game. Another player he said was still out with an injury was midfielder Phinda Ginindza. "All the other players are at training as we speak and all raring to go as they know the importance of this fixture. What I can say is we’re ready to go and our supporters must be ready to rally behind us in red and white on Sunday," he said. His counterpart at the ‘black and white’ part of the Capital City, Dumisani ‘DU’ Sibandze said they would also do all in their power to have the team ready for the derby so they can get positive results.
