We are now counting three days before the big football Sunday, precisely before
the Cup of Hope final games which will decide this
year’s champions.
It will not just be the three games on offer but also some music entertainment
by well known stars and on top of that, all present at the stadium will be able
to purchase the Swazi Telecom’s new products at a reduced fee. Below, I take
you through the events you can expect on the day while also highlighting all the
stars you will get to see on the day of the Cup of Hope Itak’seta Mo. Enjoy

1. FROM THE SPONSOR
TO THE FANS
WLL Fixed Terminal
to sell for E325
All the fans and members of the public to grace the Charity Cup on the main day,
this Sunday will be at liberty to purchase the WLL Fixed Terminal for E325 at
the stadium. Its original price is E570, there is also E100 free off-peak
package. They will also get to purchase the 3G MIFI Broadband for E350 instead
of E570. The sponsor’s Head of Marketing Charles Ndlovu said since the
promotion started during the last roadshow at the Jubilee Park over a week ago,
they have got a positive response from fans and the public.
2. THE MUSIC STARS

There is no doubt the South African artist has a huge following in the country
as evidenced each time he has performed in the Kingdom. He packed over 2000 at
the last roadshow in Jubilee Park and delivered a splendid performance. He is
back again utok’seta mo!
DJ Cleo and the
Teddy Bears
He needs no introduction as even the elderly know and dance to his music. The
renowned spinner and producer has performed in the country’s clubs and during
the SwaziBank Cup final last year at Somhlolo National Stadium so he knows the
crowd will expect that same brilliant performance he gave them, like that day in
His Majesty’s presence.
Ncandweni Christ
Ambassadors
This is a popular group in the SADC region which has won awards even outside the
country. Led by Timothy Myeni who was Member of Parliament for Lubulini, the
group has also performed for big football crowds before and know their thing.

3. THE FOOTBALL ACTION
Three games on the trot and you don’t want to miss any – first it is Royal
Leopard vs Green Mamba at 9am and Young Buffaloes vs Mbabane Swallows at 11.30am
in the semis before the final at 3.30pm. All these teams boast of an array of
stars hence befitting a star-studded Sunday in the country’s soccer Mecca.
Among others you can expect in action are Mike Mohammed (Swallows), Mphile
‘Nyandoro’ Tsabedze (Buffaloes), Welile Maseko (G. Mamba) and Zweli
‘Mlilo’ Nxumalo (Leopard).
4. CHAMPIONS’ CROWNING
After all three games have played, the team that will shine in the final will be
presented with the trophy and gold medals on the spot while the runners-up will
settle for silver. This is always the most special moment for players as in
every game, the ultimate goal is to win and here we are talking E650 000 grand

5. THE COLOURFUL FANS
Thousands of supporters are expected to cascade the stadium on Sunday and as
usual, fans always come with special outfits matching their clubs’ colours,
creating a very beautiful atmosphere as they cheer on all the grandstands. They
are expected to behave in an acceptable way so as not to spoil this big day of
football and charity. Among these fans are the country’s big shots being
government officials and other dignitaries from various sectors among other
people.
