Dlamini, in an interview, saidwhen he received a directive to stay put in office until further notice on Sunday. “This effectively means that I’m part of the Sigejane (council of ministers) which the King pronounced that it will remain in office in the absence of the entire Cabinet,” he stated. His Majesty King Mswati III pronounced the establishment of Sigejane when he dissolved the 9th Parliament at Ludzidzini Cattle Byre on Friday. Minister Ntuthuko said it pleased him to no end to be trusted by his superiors. He pledged not to disappoint them by performing to his best abilities. His Majesty, when announcing the dissolution of Parliament, said such a move would enable them to take part freely in this year’s general elections. The elections commenced with the nomination process last weekend (Saturday and Sunday) in the various royal kraals (imiphakatsi) and polling centres around the kingdom. Minister Dlamini was nominated to contest for a parliamentary seat at LaMgabhi Constituency on Saturday.
