Times Of Swaziland: IT’S A GOOD LEARNING CURVE- TONY, ‘SIKHALI’ IT’S A GOOD LEARNING CURVE- TONY, ‘SIKHALI’ ================================================================================ BY SABELO GWEBU on 03/07/2017 08:40:00 LOBAMBA – Surely the 2017 class of Mbabane Swallows players has engraved their names on the history of local football. Following yesterday’s crippling 1-3 defeat at the hands of CS Sfaxien at Somhlolo National Stadium, Swallows are out of the Total CAF Confederation Cup and Saturday’s last game of the groups against South Africa’s Platinum Stars will just be a formality. The red and white glamour giants are the first Swazi team to reach the group stages of any of the CAF inter-club competitions under the new format. Captain Tony Tsabedze who had a penalty bouncing off the upright late in the game admitted their opponents were better on the day. “We had a terrible first-half and conceded early goals. It was not a bad campaign for us and we did our best but I feel we should have done better. We will learn from this going to next continental tournaments,” Tsabedze said. Striker Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa who received rave reviews from the visiting side Portuguese coach said if the unconfirmed CS Sfaxien interest reports are true, he will be happy to sign. “They are smart and their concentration levels are always top notch. It is a good learning experience for us,” the goal machine said.
