Nomalungelo shines at Swazi Expo's last day

MANZINI – Local afro jazz artist, Nomalungelo Dladla rendered a brilliant performance on the last day of the Swazi Expo on Monday afternoon.

Dladla collaborated with local Reggae group, Togo and the Idrenz, Mozaik, Psycolution and Jazz P. They took to the stage at approximately 4pm and performed to a receptive crowd.

Dladla, dazzled in her African inspired red and black boob tube dress. Lead guitarist, Togo from Togo and the Idrenz also marvelled those in attendance with his guitar playing skills.

Collaborated

Claiming Ground’s CEO, Muzi ‘Mozaik’ Ngwenya and Psycolution also joined in and collaborated with the artist in a song titled ‘S’thandwa Sami’. Reggae artist Jazz P was also not to be outshined with her recital.

Mfundo Dlamini from Mbabane said he loved Dladla’s voice and said he was looking forward to her album.
After her performance she said she was very happy with the attendance and was glad that more people were opening up to her type of music. The group sang five songs from her upcoming album, ‘Lilungelo Lami’. She encouraged people to buy the album when it is released next month.
