THIN LINE BETWEEN LOVE AND LUST
Sir,
What is the difference between love and lust? Which one came first? Which can stand the test of time?
The majority of people think love is adorations, affections and kindness and that is probably true. Love in most cases leads to marriages.
How many kinds of love do we have? I think there are two namely ‘true’ love and ‘false’ love.
Then how do they differ? As for true love, it is the one which can stand the test of time, while on the other hand the false one has no foundation and that is why it collapses down the line.
possessions
Some said false love is based on money or possessions but I cannot confirm or deny such peculiar allegations, as I may be called crazy.
What about lust? What does lust mean? I think lust means great desires to taste something if it is good or bad.
So lust has nothing to do with love. In fact it means something else apart from love.
Some examples of lust; for ethical reasons I would not mention them, instead I prefer the scriptures to do it for me. You can find them in the following verses: Romans 8:5-8, Matthew 5:27-28 and Revelations 22:15.
The bad thing about lust is that it leads to sufferings, condemnations and death!
